This is a fantastic opportunity to bring a non-scout friend to see join in the FUN and see what Cub Scouting is all about! We have doubled the amount of BB and Archery slots this year so more Cubs can experience the thrill of target shooting. Lenape Lodge 8 is attending the National Order of the Arrow Conference at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. 13 youth arrowmen with 6 adults are representing the Garden State Council along with several staff members. Scoutmaster & Assistant Scoutmaster Leader Specific is for Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters and other Scout leaders who wish to learn about conducting the Boy Scout program and Troop administration.
Boy Scouts of America has recognized that a small but significant number of adults, for whom Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (ITOLS) is required; may already possess, have taught, and can demonstrate those skills. Councils have therefore been asked to to provide a "self assessment and testing"process; which will substitute for the need to take the ITOLS weekend course.
