On Monday, November 28, the Garden State Council executive board approved GSC2020, the council's strategic plan. This document outlines a vision for how the Garden State Council ought to serve young people by January 1, 2020, and identifies 25 key strategic objectives to accomplish this vision.

All Eagle Scouts (21 and older) of Garden State Council are invited for an afternoon of networking and watching our Philadelphia Eagles.
The event will take place on Sunday, Dec. 11, from 1- 4 p.m., at the Phily Diner and Sports Bar, 31 South Black Horse Pike, Runnemede.
The cost of the event is $15.00 per Eagle Scout. This is a non-uniform event.
For the past eight months, a group of volunteers have been hard at work crafting a strategic plan for Scouting in South Jersey. That plan - called GSC2020 - outlines what Scouting ought to look like on January 1, 2020, and seeks to align the council behind achieving that vision.
The council's executive board will vote on the plan November 28, 2016. Because GSC2020 will impact every family in the council, the strategic plan committee will be holding three open forum meetings to present the plan, and answer questions about what lays ahead.
