Eagles Watching Eagles Event - Dec. 11


All Eagle Scouts (21 and older) of Garden State Council are invited for an afternoon of networking and watching our Philadelphia Eagles.

The event will take place on Sunday, Dec. 11, from 1- 4 p.m., at the Phily Diner and Sports Bar, 31 South Black Horse Pike, Runnemede.

The cost of the event is $15.00 per Eagle Scout.  This is a non-uniform event.


GSC 2020 - What Scouting should look like in 2020

For the past eight months, a group of volunteers have been hard at work crafting a strategic plan for Scouting in South Jersey. That plan - called GSC2020 - outlines what Scouting ought to look like on January 1, 2020, and seeks to align the council behind achieving that vision. 

The council's executive board will vote on the plan November 28, 2016. Because GSC2020 will impact every family in the council, the strategic plan committee will be holding three open forum meetings to present the plan, and answer questions about what lays ahead.

Shawnee Super Scout Sunday - Feb.5

Grab your skis, snowboards and winter boots for the 1st Annual Super Scout Sunday at Shawnee Mountain!

Scouts of all ages and immediate family members are invited to participate in the Super Scout Sunday event on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Shawnee Mountain Ski Area in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. Come as a Den, Pack, Troop, Crew, Post or just make it a family outing! 


Popcorn Pick-Up Location Changes for Nov. 12

Popcorn Pick-Up Locations Have Changed

Take Orders will be available for pick up on Saturday, November 12 from 8 a.m. to 11a.m. at the following locations:

  • Rowan Scout Training Center, 695 Rancocas Rd., Westampton

  • Riggins Scout Resource Center 4468 South Main Rd., Millville

Popcorn will not be distributed from any other locations. 

Remember: All payments are due by Dec. 2, 2016.

 

 

 


Third Asst. Scoutmaster (Age 18-21) needed for Jamboree

The Jamboree committee is in need of a Third Assistant Scoutmaster to serve as a leader for the 2017 National Jamboree. This is a youth leadership position. 

Requirements:

Third Assistant Scoutmasters MUST be at least 18 years of age by the first day of the Jamboree but not yet 21 years of age by the last day of the Jamboree.

MUST have a current BSA membership with a Boy Scout Troop
