The much anticipated 2014 Program Expo is just around the corner! This is an event that the key Scouters and Scouts in every unit will want to attend. The theme for the event is "How can we help your unit achieve Gold in your Journey to Excellence?" Virtually every organization within Garden State Council will be represented at this very educational happening. To name a few, representatives will be available for Philmont, The Summit, Advancement Committee, Marketing Committee, Fund Raising, Order of the Arrow, Activities, and many more!
The Trenton Thunder Baseball team will be hosting two Scout sleepover nights on June 20th and July 25th at 7:05. Details on the events and guidelines are attached. The inaugural meeting of the Garden State Council Activities Committee will be held Thursday, February 27, 2014, 7:30PM at the Rowan Scout Center. The committee, consisting of District Activity Chairs and other interested Scouters who would like to help plan future Council Activities are asked to attend. We are looking for Scouters from all the divisions in the Scouting Program. Another interesting facet of this committee is that districts can discuss events in their districts and exchange ideas and help each other make events that keep Scouts interest in the program and retain membershi
