Camp Builders at Pine Hill Scout Reservation

Second Saturday of Every Month

The Garden State Council is proud to launch
Camp Builders, a handson volunteer initiative dedicated to preserving, improving, and enhancing the outdoor program facilities at Pine Hill Scout Reservation. Whether you’re a seasoned craftsman, a weekend DIYer, or simply someone who wants to support Scouting, there is a place for you on the team.

What Is Camp Builders?

Camp Builders is a recurring monthly service day where volunteers come together to tackle a variety of projects that keep Pine Hill safe, functional, and ready for adventure. Tasks may include:

  • Trail clearing and campsite upkeep
  • Painting, repairs, and general maintenance
  • Conservation and outdoor improvement projects
  • Facility upgrades and seasonal preparations
  • Special project builds aligned with program needs

Each month will offer a combination of light, moderate, and skilled tasks—designed so
any volunteer can contribute, regardless of experience.

Who Can Participate?

Adult Volunteers

This program is geared primarily toward adults who want to support council properties and enjoy working with their hands. No special skills are required—just a willingness to help and a positive attitude.
Scout Participation (Occasional)
Scouts may attend select project days when tasks are appropriate for youth involvement, advancement opportunities, or troop-level service projects. These dates will be announced separately to ensure alignment with safety and age guidelines.
