Challenging Outdoor Personal Experiences
C.O.P.E. stands for “Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience.” Roosevelt Scout Reservation features both low-C.O.P.E. and high-C.O.P.E. courses.
The C.O.P.E. program combines group initiative games, trust events, and high- and low-ropes courses. Some activities involve a group challenge, while others develop individual skills and agility.
Participants climb, swing, balance, jump, rappel, and devise solutions to a variety of problems.
The Climbing Program empowers Scouts to develop climbing and rappeling skills, centering on our climbing tower. These skills can be used to earn the Climbing Merit Badge.
In both programs, participants will learn and practice skills in communication, planning, trust, teamwork, leadership, decision making, problem solving, and self-esteem.
Our program can be utilized for half- or full-day programs based on the size of your group and the amount of time you have available.
C.O.P.E will make individuals strong and groups stronger!
