Cash, property, or stock given during your lifetime provide immediate support for local Scouting programs.

Life Insurance and Retirement Accounts

Designating the Garden State Council as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement account is a simple and impactful way to leave a legacy. To ensure your gift supports local Scouting, it is important that the named beneficiary reads exactly as: "Garden State Council, Boy Scouts of America."

BSA Gift Annuity Program

This option allows donors to receive tax benefits from a charitable gift while retaining a benefit from the gifted property.

Charitable Remainder or Lead Trusts

Like the annuity program, charitable trusts offer a way to realize tax advantages while maintaining interest in the gifted property during the trust period.

Support Our Scouting Troops

Support can take many forms: Donate through Friends of Scouting, purchase popcorn or camp cards from a local Scout, attend our Women of Achievement dinner or regional Citizenship Awards dinners, and so much more. Your support of Scouting enables Garden State Council to support the experiences of nearly 5,000 youth throughout South Jersey!
