The mission of the Garden State Council Eagle Scout Alumni Association is to give back and strengthen the Scouting program for future Eagle Scouts.

We encourage Eagle Scouts from across South Jersey to stay involved, connect with fellow alumni, and continue making an impact.

Alumni Scholarship

The Eagle Scout Alumni Association offers an annual $1,000 scholarship to support Eagle Scouts continuing their education at a college or post-high school technical school.

2026 Scholarship Application

Eligibility Requirements:

Must be an Eagle Scout in the Garden State Council.
All Eagle requirements must be completed and approved by the Board of Review.
Must be graduating high school in the year of application.

Application Requirements:

Completed application form.
A 1,000-word essay on: “What does being an Eagle Scout mean to me?”.

Recognition and Mentorship

The Alumni Association proudly recognizes the achievements of Eagle Scouts and supports their next steps through mentorship and connection with community and business leaders. These efforts help extend the impact of Scouting beyond the program and into future careers and leadership roles.

July 11 - 9:00am Palace Outfitters

Tubing down the Great Egg Harbor River –2 mile 2-3 hour trip.

July 24 - 5:00pm Farm Fair

The Council is promoting Friday night as Hawaiian shirt night so if you are interested, please wear your best or Eagle Alumni gear.

August 8 - 7:00am Belmar Marina

7:00 am arrival 7:30 boat leaves Miss Belmar 3/4 Day Fishing (groupon) we will be inviting Monmouth Eagle Alumni to join us for the trip since it’s in their council area.

September 5 - Museum of the American Revolution

Please let us know if you are planning on joining us as reserving tickets for Independence Hall and the museum are required.

September 15 - 5:00pm Applebee’s

Happy hour with half priced apps till 6 and then mini golf or chip & putt across the street at Voorhees Golf Land

October 3 or 24 - Maurice River Bluffs Preserve

5 mile loop trail and hopefully see some Eagles or other wildlife while exploring.

November 1 - Pine Hill American Legion Hall

December 13 - (meeting time and place for car-pooling tbd)

Dress Rehearsal for Washington Crossing the Delaware reenactment we will be inviting Washington’s Crossing Council’s Eagle Alumni to join us for the this outing since it’s in their council area.
