Who We Are

For more than 100 years, the Order of the Arrow (OA) has recognized Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Scout Law in their daily lives. This recognition encourages others to live these ideals as well.

Members of the Order of the Arrow, known as Arrowmen, are committed to cheerful service, camping traditions, and strengthening the spirit of Scouting. OA members promote year-round camping and long-term outdoor experiences while supporting programs that build leadership, character, and connection.

Through service projects, training, and high-adventure opportunities, the Order of the Arrow helps develop strong youth and adult leaders who extend and enrich Scouting for others.

In the Garden State Council, the local OA Lodge is Lenape Lodge 8.

Support Our Scouting Troops

Support can take many forms: Donate through Friends of Scouting, purchase popcorn or camp cards from a local Scout, attend our Women of Achievement dinner or regional Citizenship Awards dinners, and so much more. Your support of Scouting enables Garden State Council to support the experiences of nearly 5,000 youth throughout South Jersey!
