Matching Gifts

Your gift to Garden State Council could go twice as far — and it won't cost you a thing extra. Many employers match their employees' charitable contributions dollar for dollar, effectively doubling the impact of your donation. Check with your HR department or company giving portal to find out if your employer participates, then follow their steps to submit a matching gift request. It's one of the simplest ways to make your support go further for the youth of southern New Jersey.

There are many ways to make a lasting gift to Garden State Council, including lifetime gifts of cash, property, or stock, life insurance and retirement account designations, BSA Gift Annuities, Charitable Trusts, and bequests in your will. To ensure your gift supports local Scouting, it is important that any beneficiary designation reads "Garden State Council, Boy Scouts of America."

Good Turn Society

The Good Turn Society honors donors whose exceptional generosity and commitment to service above self make them true heroes of Scouting. Donors with a new gift of at least $25,000 are eligible for induction at their lifetime cumulative giving level, with benefits including a personalized proclamation, lapel pin, challenge coin, medallion, and exclusive event access.
