Register for an Event

Set up your Black Pug account to save your information and register faster. Unit Committee Chairs should register using the email address on file in My.Scouting.org to automatically sync your unit roster and access your members’ information.

Once your account is set up, upload or build your unit roster so you can register Scouts and adults without re-entering their details each time. Your roster follows you across any council that uses Black Pug.

Learn how to find Garden State Council events, select your session, and begin the registration process. You will have the option to register as a guest or log in to your account.

Walk through adding participant information and completing the checkout step. Important: you must complete checkout to secure your spot, even when no fees are due at that time.

Unit leaders registering for summer camp or certain council events can enable the Parent Portal, allowing Scout families to make payments and complete data entry for their own Scouts directly.

If your unit leader has enabled the Parent Portal, parents can use their access credentials to make payments and update their Scout's information without going through the unit leader.

For events that include class or merit badge selections, this tutorial walks through how to browse available sessions and build a schedule for each participant in your registration.

View and download invoices, participant rosters, class schedules, and other reports directly from your registration. Reports are available once your registration balance is paid in full.
