Burlington County Distinguished Citizen Award

Dr. Tiffani Worthy is Chief Executive Officer of All Things Are Possible Foundation (ATAP), a non-profit organization she and her husband founded in 2007. ATAP serves over 400 children annually through out-of-school-time programs, including before- and after-school care, summer empowerment experiences, STEAM workshops, and other academic and cultural enrichment programs for K-8 students and teens.

Dr. Worthy brings strategic planning, thoughtful decision-making, vision setting, and positive energy to Willingboro. Her service as a combat veteran and her career in the private sector have developed her keen eye for detail, focus on accountability, and drive for results.

Dr. Worthy earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering and French from the United States Military Academy at West Point. She was commissioned in the United States Army and deployed to Baghdad to support Operation Iraqi Freedom. She earned a Bronze Star Medal. She also holds a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management from Webster University, and a Doctorate of Education in Human and Organizational Learning from The George Washington University.

She transitioned from leading and serving in uniform to leading and serving on executive leadership teams at The George Washington University, M.C. Dean, a premier electrical engineering firm, and Day & Zimmermann, a $2.5B engineering and construction company.

For nearly 15 years, Dr. Worthy served as an Adjunct Professor and Course Chair at Drexel University, teaching project management, and was awarded for her years of teaching excellence. Using a consultative approach rooted in strategic analysis and inclusive perspectives, Dr. Worthy delivers solutions to complex challenges and achieves results.

In 2020, Dr. Worthy was elected to serve on the Willingboro Township Council and was unanimously selected by the Council to serve as Mayor. While Mayor, Dr. Worthy courageously led Willingboro through a global pandemic, worked collaboratively with the Council to author and approve Willingboro’s first strategic plan, unified core values for the workplace, stabilized taxes, and enhanced resident experiences, to name a few highlights.

In June 2023, she was re-elected to serve a new term as Willingboro Township Councilwoman.

The common thread in all Dr. Worthy does is her commitment to helping people and organizations reach their fullest potential and her passion for learning. Wherever Dr. Worthy is, her mission is to strengthen organizational culture, improve performance, and build inclusive workplaces through capacity building.

Dr. Worthy is married to Reverend Dr. Carlos Worthy, and they have 3 adult children serving in the US Army, one grandson, and a granddaughter on the way.

Ken played basketball at Marengo High School in Illinois; from there he received a scholarship to Paducah (KY) Community College where he played for two years before he accepted a full ride for basketball at Memphis State University (now the University of Memphis) and played the 1977 season there. He switched to a football scholarship in 1978 as a tight end (despite having played no high school football) when the coaches noticed his large frame and speed on the court. He was then granted an extra year of eligibility for switching sports, and played both basketball and football for the MSU Tigers in 1979.

Receiving interest from several NFL teams he chose to accept a free agent offer from the Philadelphia Eagles in 1980, and was able to make the team as a rookie free agent. He was active for two regular season games, and received an NFC
Championship ring when the Eagles participated in Super Bowl XV against Jim Plunkett and the Oakland Raiders. After his release by the Birds in 1981, he was briefly a member of the Baltimore Colts in 1982 and played in the Hall of Fame game against Bud Grant and the Minnesota Vikings before signing with the NY Giants later that pre-season. He finished his professional football career with
the two-time USFL Champion Philadelphia Stars led by Head Coach Jim Mora, and won two more rings as the team triumphed in the 1984 and 1985 seasons. Ken set a single game receiving record for the franchise in 1985 with 11 receptions for 109 yards against Reggie White and the Memphis Showboats.

Ken is currently the publisher of JerseyMan and PhillyMan Magazines and Executive Producer of Field Mouse, a feature film about his teammate with the Philadelphia Stars, Sam Mills. He is also the author of An Improbable Journey, creator of Forgotten Stars Productions, LLC, and is working on a documentary about the two time USFL Champions the Philadelphia/Baltimore Stars titled Dynasty Denied.

Ken Dunek is a college football analyst for ESPN and has appeared on national TV shows like Real World with Neil Cavuto on Fox News, as well as local programming on Comcast SportsNet Sports Talk Live and CBS 3 Talk Philly.
