Wood Badge

Wood Badge is Scouting America’s premier advanced leadership training for adult volunteers and professionals. Open to leaders from Cub Scouting, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scouts, Exploring, and district or council roles, the course focuses on strengthening leadership skills and building stronger Scouting units.

Wood Badge combines classroom learning, outdoor experiences, group activities, and hands-on collaboration to create a meaningful and engaging leadership experience.

Participants leave with practical leadership tools, stronger connections within Scouting, and a personalized action plan to apply within their unit and everyday life.
