Sea Scouts

Sea Scouts is where adventure meets the water. Open to young men and women ages 14-20, this co-ed program blends leadership, teamwork, and hands-on maritime experience into something truly unique.

For more than a century, Sea Scouting has helped young people build confidence and character while developing real-world skills on the water. From boating and navigation to water safety and maritime tradition, every experience challenges, inspires, and prepares Sea Scouts for whatever lies ahead.

Sea Scout units—called ships—are found across the country on oceans, bays, rivers, and lakes. Each ship offers a dynamic program filled with outdoor adventure, service, social events, and skill-building opportunities you will not find anywhere else. Along the way, Sea Scouts form strong friendships and unforgettable memories.
